a must have upgrade to the polymer rail. My frame came with a polymer rail, forcing me to spend more $ to upgrade. Mot sure why all the frames don’t come with the aluminum rail.

If you use your mck for work and or go to the range regularly this is a must, using different optics could degrade the plastic overtime so for the price its a no brainer.
The mck is an already amazing product, the fact that they find ways to upgrade it is a testament to how serious this company is about innovation.
