8 Advantages over the first gen MCK:
1. The Gen 2 MCK features a new extended stabilizer which allows the user to fire the Gen 2 MCK in the folded and locked position. The new stabilizer is compatible with Gen 1 MCKs as well.
2. The Gen 2 rear door extends back an additional 15 degrees, making it easier to insert and extract the handgun.
3. The Gen 2 MCK accommodates suppressor height sights.
4. The Gen 2 MCK features a new charging handle which makes more surface contact with the rear of the handgun slide.
5. The Gen 2 MCK features an aluminum top picatinny rail for improved stability, durability, and accuracy.
6. The Gen 2 MCK accepts CAA USA’s new brass catcher, made especially for our latest generation MCK. (Sold separately)
7. The Gen 2 MCK features an improved spare magazine holder that operates with a mag catch and magazine release button.
8. The Gen 2 MCK is suppressor friendly and can accommodate a suppressor up to 1.38” diameter.

I received my MCK Gen2 last week, and haven’t had a chance to get to the range to check it out. However, I am impressed with the quality, fit and finish. I have mounted a red dot and laser (optic for 25 yards plus, and the laser for close range) and have been dry firing. I like the ability the MCK to stabilize my Glock 22 with three points of contact, as well as allow accessories to be mounted on board. Looking forward to range day!

Only gave it 4 stars because I cannot get my Glock 17 to lock in with the extended beavertail grip installed on the pistol.

I am even more impressed with the MCK gen 2. Took it to the range and included it in my training routine for the next five days. Have already burned through a thousand rounds with it.
Had only one double feed occur during that entire time. Simple matter to fix.
This last week I’ve noticed practicing with the MCK has improved my control and management of my handguns recoil as well as developed my marksmanship with the pistol.
Definitely a great training aide, home defense option as well as a great way to break the ice with other shooters at the range.
My LEO buddies were in awe and have stated they plan to invest in purchasing their own MCK.
I personally cant wait to see how CAA will improve on this design.
