I was skeptical about the thumb rests, as I was pretty much set in my ways on how to hold my original RONI (for the last 10 years) and figured I would be set on the same for the MCK. Was I ever wrong! First time with the thumb rests were a “Whoa…I like this!” moment. I have ended up getting them for my RONI and my long guns as well. This is my favorite, and best-value-for-the-money accessories I have ever purchased. Great for transitioning between dominant and weak hand to ensure great control on the weapon. Never taking them off!

It works well with smaller hands but like my son said, he doesn’t need it to feel comfortable and without it his finger is already there to turn on the light.
Having it though is better than not having it when you want it.
