…functional, but to what degree? I don’t know yet, I’ve only run a couple mags sighting in and haven’t run & gunned with the my arrangement yet..so far, purposeful for what little recoil management there is in the first place…

The thumb rest seems perfect. It is adjustable as when I first mounted it I didn’t like the feel. However, after I removed it and realizes I could mount father forward it was positioned just right. My only negative is having to purchase a pair? I don’t see why I would mount strong side as my finger on the trigger would make use on that side impossible. Still, I believe it was a good purchase.
