I originally bought these to have a secure place to rest my thumb along the side of my Origin 12. Consistency helps with accurate shot placement especially when you are working the weapon from different angles. These thumb rests have a wide non-slip surface, have tight tolerances for no slop on the pic rails, they have a tab that positively engages the pic rails to lock your position in place and both thumb rests have tolerated being moved several times while I figure out the position that works best for me. I like these so much I purchased a second set for my Kriss Vector. That platform is a dream to shoot rapidly already but I have struggled with consistent supporting hand placement. So having these gas pedals has given me a positive place to place my hands. I think that is the best endorsement I can give a product. Keep in mind I paid full price for these thumb rests and I haven’t received anything for free or at a discount, nor am I being compensated for my opinion.
