The Micro Red dot sight is a joint -venture with Crimson Trace and features 1.3 years of battery life on a single CR2032 battery with 14 different illumination settings ( 7 settings for red & 7 settings for green) that can be quickly cycled through for use at night or on a bright day. The 4 MOA red dot is extremely crisp and allows you to take quickly aimed shots at short range while still giving you the ability to make effective shots at medium ranges. The glass that the red dot is projected on is fully multi-coated to reduce reflection and provide a clear sight picture. It is also shock, dust, impact, fog, and recoil resistant.

I initially bought this sight to use with the iron sights offered by CAA. Unfortunately, the iron sights were out of stock when I bought the red dot. I instead used some other fixed iron sights I had laying around and surprisingly enough, I am able to absolute co-witness. I like the green or red option and the sight picture is clear. Dot doesn’t look fuzzy or anything like that. I am happy with this red/green dot sight as it fits my needs appropriately.

Easy to install and move on the picatany rail. Easy to work with and set up to your liking. The down side it is not calibrated or even close, so you would need to buy a laser bullet to adjust it. The dot itself is very clear even at the lowest setting for both green and red. The view itself is a bit constrained but for the price it’s at a toss up.

Added this green dot yesterday. Clean, crisp dot with a couple brightness settings. Zeroed at 20 yards pretty easy. Time will tell how it holds zero. Overall very happy with purchase, price and quality.
