Ordered the aluminum Picatinny top rail, extended Gen 2 stabilizer and thumb rests to convert a Gen 1 MCK into a MCK Gen 2. Expensive, I know, but not as expensive as buying the gen 2 out right. Using a Glock 23 (40 S&W), this is a fun range toy and very accurate with the crimson trace red dot inside 25 yards. Only issue is the thumb rests – received two for the left side instead of one for each side. Since I’m right handed, no big deal but QC could be better.

The rail fit the MCK (GEN 1) with a little forward sliding, however, there is still a little play in my Leupold prismatic scope on its quick detatch mount. It is much tighter than the composite rail, but the design is not quite as tight as a standard picatinny rail is. I do think it will be ok as the scope movement is very minimal.

Great solid design. Tight fit and uses the existing screws to secure the metal rails. Get one…you won’t regret it.

Quality is very good. My only problem was there poor packaging item was damaged in the mail. Nothing a file wouldn’t clean but for what you pay for this item it should of been in a box not a shipping bag.

My only regret is not knowing the difference beforehand. I would give five stars. Too bad it doesn’t just come equipped standard. Otherwise, a perfect addition to the piece. Really makes the difference in locking down those sights and optics. Good weight. Shipping was fast and communication was excellent. Good company, good products so far. I will continue to shop from this company and recommend others to do so.
