1. Can I run a ported barrel or slide with the MCK?

No, ported or compensated barrels and slides are currently not compatible with the MCK. Ported barrels direct gas upwards, which can interfere with the MCK’s operation and potentially damage the kit or the firearm. Altering the gas dynamics of a gun with a ported barrel can affect the reliability and safety of the system, especially when combined with the MCK. This applies to all MCK generations.

2. Can I use a suppressor with the MCK?

Yes, but only on the Gen 2 and Gen 3 MCKs. The second and third generations contain specially designed internal clearances and modifications to accommodate suppressors, which the first generation does not have.
MCK Gen 1: does not support suppressors
MCK Gen 2: accepts suppressors up to 1.38” in diameter
MCK Gen 3: accepts suppressors up to 1.50” in diameter

1. Can I use suppressor-height sights? Yes, but only with Gen 2 and Gen 3. These models have the additional space needed inside the housing to accommodate taller sights. The MCK Gen 1 lacks this extra space, so the taller sights are incompatible with those models.

MCK Gen 1:
